Our union has been playing the role of a service provider (advisory, farm input, posting credit facility, facility maintenance) to farmers and primary co-operative societies. However, the business perspective has grown to the point of investing in coffee roasting and processing for both the local and the National markets.
The aim is to sell packaged roasted beans and grounded coffee to local shops and supermarket chains in the country. Our brand (Mount Kenya Arabica Coffee) is already in the market. We are offering both the premium and standard quality of various sizes as a way of providing for every category of our customers.
